Blogging From iGoogle And Gmail

The Blogger posting widget makes it easy to post to your web blog convenience of Gmail or your iGoogle homepage.

On this article i will show you how you can post to your blogger blogs using the Blogger posting Widget.

To add the Blogger Posting Gadget to your iGoogle page, simply click this button: 


Now click the blue "Add to Google" button. Make sure that you're signed in with the same Google account that you use for Blogger. Once you've added the Blogger Posting Gadget you will see the gadget on your iGoogle page

You have successfully add the posting gadgets to your iGoogle Homepage

Now lets Add the Posting gadgets to Gmail

To add the Blogger Posting Gadget in Gmail, you'll first have to enable the Add Gadget by URL lab feature from your settings

                             

Once you've enable this Labs feature, then you can add the posting gadget by simpling entering its URL into the Gadget tab in your Settings. Here's the URL:

In the top right corner of the gadget you will see the title of your blog. If you have more than one blog, there will be a drop-down menu in the corner so you can select the blog you'd like to post to. You can then enter a title and write a post. You also have the option to add labels to your post as well. Once you have finished writing your post, click "Publish" to publish your post or click "Save Draft" to save your post back to Blogger without publishing it

NOTE:

• The gadget supports editing the HTML of title and body.
• If you start writing a post and decide you want to upload images or use other rich text features, just click "Save Draft". The gadget will save your post, then give you a link to directly edit the post in Blogger.
• The gadget works in Firefox, Chrome, Safari 3, Internet Explorer and on the iPhone.

How To Add Image On Blogger Post Editor

We all know adding image to our various blog post make the post/article content unique, As a matter of fact i will be teaching you how to add image to you every blogs post on blogger platform i will advice you keep reading and practising the tutorial and some screenshots on this article.
As said above on every step i make there will be a backup of screenshot to guide you for better understanding of this phrase "How to add image to Blogger posts"
On blogger platform there are two ways of adding image to post on the editor.either upload from COMPOSE OR HTML
don't worry i wil put you all through the two ways.
NOTE: you must be log in to your blogger dashboard.
now lets start from the "COMPOSE)

Step#1: locate new post tab and click. an editor will come up on the editor locate ==> add photo and click also a pop window will come-up on the pop window there are four option on the page list below

Now click on the Add Selected Button With  this you have successfully add image to your blogger post

How To Create a New Blogger Blog Post

Some days back i wrote about "How to create free blogspot.com blog". Today will will be writing on how to make a new post on you blogspot blog, After creating your blog, you will have to be writing articles on the blog in other to keep blog/website updated. The more you write in blog, the more it grows bigger.  In this great post, I am sharing with you, how you can be writing blog posts on Blogspot blogs.
Log in to your blog at www.blogger.com or www.blogspot.com dashboard with your Gmail Details

Click on the "New Post" tab or the pen tab seen in the infographic below

Once you click on the New Post tab  the post editor will open.

To add image, click on the image icon as seen in the infographic below:

With these steps you have successfully create a new post on your blogger blog

How to add Description and Keyword metatags to Blogger blogs and Post

If you are a webmaster or site creator, you have to make sure that the site content reaches your target audience. One way of doing that is by carefully assigning title tags as well as meta descriptions and keywords to your web pages. Meta description tags also improve the chances of your site being found and clicked on in the SERPs.

Though Blogger is a Google product, blogs hosted on blogger do not have support for meta descriptions and keywords by default. If you have ever tried adding keywords or description meta tags to your Blogger pages, you might have seen that there is no easy way of implementing that. Here is a workaround to make changes to your blogger template in order to add description and keyword metatags of your choice to your blogger top page as well as to your posts.

In the Layout panel of your blog, click on Edit HTML.

Click on Download Full Template and save a backup copy of your template. This will come in handy to undo any changes in case the changes do not work as expected

Look for the following code in the template



Add the following code immediately after the code in step #3.



Replace the http://myurl.blogspot.com/ line with the URL of your blog top page.

Replace the word MY DESCRIPTION with a description for your blog top page.

Replace the word MY KEYWORDS with a list of keywords separated by commas, relevant to your blog top page.

You would need to to follow the steps 4 to 7 – for adding corresponding URL’s, descriptions and keywords for for all the individual posts from your blog. For example, if your first article is about your how to get 500 target visitors, you’ll need to as follows.

Add this code again immediately after the

line:

Replace the http://myurl.blogspot.com/ line with http://myurl.blogspot.com/how-to-500-target-visitors-to-your-blog.html

Replace the word MY DESCRIPTION with description of your how to get 500 target visitors

Replace the word MY KEYWORDS with keywords such 500 target, visitors etc...

Please ensure that all the individual posts have titles and descriptions matching the page content. This will help you from preventing your posts to go in Google sandbox
