These are items included with you new buy DES-1005D / DES- 1008D switch.

I have no idea on how to install D-Link Switch till i own a cyber
cafe, i have been hearing Netwokers saying "Networking of more than
one computer is very hard". This really gave me motivation to make this
post and to proof and show to Netwokers that networking of more than
one system is not hard as they say:... Though you might be little
confusing at the beginning... Today i want to show you how i install
my D-Link 5/8-Port 10/Mbps Fast Entered Switch... Without having any
networking idea.
Note Before You Setup The DES-1005D / DES-1008D
The setup of a the Switch can be performed using the following steps:
1. Install the DES-1005D / dES-1008D in a fairly cool and dry place.
2. Install the switch in a site free from strong electromagnetic
source,e.g. Vibration, dust and etc.
3. Leave at least 10cm of space at the left and right hand side of the
Switch for ventilation
4. Do not stack any device upon the Switch.

Connecting the DES - 1005D / DES-1008D 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch

Now with this following short steps you can easily connect your D-Links Switch.

technical specification section for information about the DC power

2. Ethernet Ports
These post support network speeds of 10Mbps or 100Mbps, and can
operate important half and full duplex transfer modes.

LED INDICATORS
The LED Indicators will allow you to monitors, diagnose and
troubleshoots any potential problem with the switch, connection or
attached devices.
1. System Power
The LED Indicator light green when the Switch is receiving power,
otherwise, it is off.
2. Link/act:
The "100link /act, 10link/act" LED indicator light green for hook to
